Kathryn Ionata

Pushcart Prize-nominated writer living outside Philadelphia

Kathryn (Katie) is the author of the chapbook Yield Signs Don’t Exist (PS Books). Her writing has appeared in Ovunque Siamo: Journal of ItalianAmerican Writing, The Best of Philadelphia Stories, The Toast, Cleaver Magazine, Sunlight Press, and elsewhere. Katie earned her MFA in Creative Writing Fiction and English from Temple University, where she also taught writing for nine years. She now serves on the editorial board of Philadelphia Stories. She lives with her husband and daughters and is at work on a novel.
